OBJECTIVES OF THE TRUST

The following are the main objects incorporated in the constitution of the Trust:

a) Promoting education in the Anavil Community,
b) To establish and maintain a Lodging and Boarding facility for the use of and assist the Mofussil Anavil students studying in Mumbai,
c) Doing such other lawful activities for the benefit of the Anavil Samaj as may be considered necessary or desirable and allowable under Act XXI of 1960.

To achieve the object of the trust, various schemes are designed to attain the aforesaid object in legal & lawful manners, which are as under :

1. Asahay Mahila Sahay (ASM) Project

  • General Aid to Asahay Mahila & poor widows,
  • Mahila self employment scheme,
  • ASM Medical aid as per medical insurance policies,
  • Swa-Rojgar Yojna – By way of providing sewing Machine to needy women.

The Trust is providing monetary assistance to more than 280 widows to support themselves and their families. The Trust has also started a Mediclaim Scheme (Cashless Mediclaim) especially for women. The Trust has organized a special scheme titled as “Asahay Mahila Swashray Yojna” to support economically backward widows and poor women to make them financially independent by providing them electric sewing machines to assist them to earn their livelihood. The Trust is also exploring with the idea of starting a scheme based on the lines of cottage industries under the name of “Hunnar Udyog Yojna” by providing seed capital to needy women to tap their talents for earning livelihood.

2. Education Aid

  • Reimbursement of Education Bank Loan Interest,
  • Scholarship,
  • Providing boarding facilities for students.

The Trust provides educational grants and scholarships to financially less privileged students to complete their educational endeavors. Bright students who wish to go abroad for studies or pursue higher studies in India are given interest free loans. The Trust has installed two Computer Centers in Gujarat to assist poor students to learn the advanced technology. The Trust is also running hostel for outstation students at subsidized charge. The Trust also proposes to start a Scheme for educating children of widows, divorcees and destitute women by sponsoring education educational assistance from a dedicated funding by a sponsor donor.

3. Medical Aid

  • General medical aid,
  • Kidney Dialysis,
  • Eye related disease,
  • Lever related disease,

The Trust provides medical aid to economically backward patients suffering from life threatening ailments such as cancer, kidney failure and cardiac illness.  The Trust organizes medical camps in rural areas such as free eye checkup, cancer detection, mental health, etc., and educates villagers on basic personal hygiene, importance of cleanliness. In Medical Camps, the Trust distributes free medicines, gives free treatment and health related information to the members of Public at large. The Trust also operates a fully equipped Medical Ambulance to provide basic medical services to poor Adivasis of Dharampur –Valsad Districts in South Gujarat under the supervision of Shree Satya Sai Seva Samiti, Valsad. The Trust has earmarked funds dedicated for providing financial help for kidney dialysis and kidney related diseases and has tied up with various Kidney dialysis centers in Gandevi, Valsad and Navsari. The Trust has also funded schemes for free eye cataract operations for senior citizens in Mumbai and  Navsari. The Trust has plans to raise funds for Pathological/Clinical diagnostic tests and Cardiac screening for poor patients at Valsad, Navsari and Surat at affordable subsidized rates from a sponsor donor.

4. Jai Anavil Nibhav Fund

The income from Jai Anavil Nibhav fund is applied on distribution of monthly magazine known as “Jai Anavil” to apprise the members of the various activities of the Trust and of entire Anavil Community with respect to Birth-Death, Education, achievement, various informative articles and progress of the Anavils. These magazines are distributed to members at free of cost.

5. Panchang Nibhav Fund

The income from the fund is applied on printing and distribution of Panchang members of the Trust at the beginning of the Vikram Samvat year.
